Background

TMS Distribution was formed in 1993 after restructuring of Hoyts' entertainment units, including Hoyts Distribution, to form Television and Media Services. The company ended up shutting its theatrical business in 1994. In 1999, the company's library of 600 titles was sold off to Becker Entertainment.
