Background

SuperBot Entertainment (formerly known as Broodworks Inc. until 2011) was a short-lived American game studio founded Culver City, California in 2009 working exclusively with Sony Computer Entertainment America. The studio's only game was PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, a game similar to that of the Super Smash Bros. series released in 2012. SuperBot would close in 2013 due to PlayStation All-Stars' mixed reviews and sales.
