Background

Sujatha Cine Arts is a Indian Tamil-language film company founded by K. Balaji in 1966.

1st Logo (1968-1987)

Logo: On a color-changing background, we see the silhouette of a statue rotating 90 degrees. The statue gets illuminated, revealing it to be a griffin holding a small shield with "SCA" engraved. The griffin stands on a pedestal which reads "SUJATHA CINE ARTS".

FX/SFX: Live-action.

Variants:

  • A version with the Tamil text of the company's name on the wing intact.
  • Sometimes, the background can be a different color.
  • On a few movies, the logo can be darker or brighter. This is possibly due to film issues.

Music/Sounds: A bombastic yet happy-sounding trumpet fanfare.

Availability: Seen on their releases from this period, such as Sattam.

2nd Logo (2007)

Logo: TBA.

FX/SFX: 3D CGI animation.

Music/Sounds: TBA.

Availability: Only seen on Kireedam.
