Background

Sterling Pacific Films was an independent film and television production company of Gil Wadsworth founded in 1995 to produce independent TV movies and shows.

1st Logo (October 6, 1997-May 18, 1998)


Visuals: Against the purple storm background, there is a dark castle on the dark hill on the right against the water. Over it are the words, "STERLING PACIFIC FILMS". The lightning flashes twice. Once on the water and once against the castle's window, which causes the light to appear on it's window.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An orchestral fanfare with the sounds of lightning.

Availability: Appeared on the short-lived series, Team Knight Rider. However, it's intact on Hulu viewings of said show.


2nd Logo (October 29, 1998-October 31, 1999)


Visuals: There is the castle on the hill from before, but this time is brighter. The water are making rough waves this time. Once again, the light flashes twice to make the light on the window appear. This time, the window's light has the glow effect and sparkles. After that, the words, "STERLING PACIFIC FILMS" zooms out with each letter rotating and making the stop in front of the castle. The text shines while the window's light sparkles.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: An extended version of the previous logo's music. Also with the sounds of thundering.

Audio Variant: Sometimes, it's the ending theme of the movie or silent.

Availability: Appears on the TV movies, Inferno, The Last Man Standing on Planet Earth, and The Apartment Complex. Also appears on the movie, The Glass Jar. Also appears at the beginning of behind-the-scenes of the said film as well.
