Background

Shoe Ink is a childrens' production company founded in September 2019 by 9 Story Media Group and Boat Rocker Media. The first production from the studio is Elinor Wonders Why.

Nicknames: "The Shoe Print", "Elinor's Logo"

Logo: Sitting next to the Pipeline Studios logo in the Elinor Wonders Why credits, we see a purple shoe print that is painted as a splat with the words "SHOE Ink" next to it.

Variants:

  • On the Elinor Wonders Why website at pbskids.org, the logo was white.
  • On the video games "Elinor Wonders Why: Elinor's Insect Discovery" and "Elinor Wonders Why: Elinor's Plant Festival", the logo was dark blue on a white background.
  • On Nickelodeon's Warped!, Elinor from the eponymous Elinor Wonders Why series runs across, holding a shoe. Then she throws the shoe at the screen, causing the logo to appear in a splat. Elinor giggles offscreen.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: On Elinor Wonders Why, the end theme of the show. On Warped!, a dramatic 5-note theme, a splat, and Elinor giggling.

Availability: Seen on Elinor Wonders Why on PBS Kids and Warped! on Nickelodeon.
