Background

Red Crown Productions is a privately financed New York-based production company founded in 2010 by Daniel Crown and Daniela Taplin Lundberg. (August 10, 2012- )

Logo: We start with a closeup as well as a reflection of a red crown's plating as the crown spins. As we zoom out, more platings of the crown are seen before "RED CROWN PRODUCTIONS" flashes in underneath with a burst effect. Once the effect disappears, the crown stops spinning.

Variants:

  • On most films, a shortened version was used where the logo starts after the close up of one red plating.
  • On Beasts of No Nation, the logo is textless.

Technique: The crown spinning and the text appearing, all done in CGI.

Music/Sounds: The opening of the movie.

Availability: Seen on all of their releases starting with Goats. Among these releases include Beasts of No Nation, Hello, My Name is Doris, and What Maisie Knew.
