Background

Psalty was a blue anthropomorphic song book created by Ernie Rettino and Debby Kerner. His records were released through Maranatha! Music and Word, Inc. in the 1980s. The records would be spun off into live-action tapes in the early 1990s.

(1990s-????)

Logo: Fading in from black, we see Psalty wearing a tuba and pointing to the sky. The words "PSALTY'S KIDS CO." are right next to him in two rows, with "PSALTY'S" on top in red and "KIDS (in red) CO. (in maroon)" on the bottom. A yellow star emerges from the tuba and leaves a rainbow trail. There are also some glitter effects. The camera fades to black.

Technique: The glittering.

Music/Sounds: A weird synth crescendo as the star rises and then bells and whistles as the logo fades out.

Availability: Rare. Found only on Psalty tapes.
