Program Partners

Background

Program Partners was launched in 2004 by Ritch Colbert. They were advertised as bringing "Distinctive original programming" to stations across the United States. As of 2010, they no longer distribute any programs, and Colbert founded a new distribution company called "PPI Releasing". Program Partners didn't use a proper logo until 2005.

Logo (2005-2010)

Visuals: On a gray background, there is a black dot, and a hoop like ring below it. The dot drops inside the hoop, and bounces off, then the hoop morphs into a shape not unlike the Nike Swoosh, and "Program Partners" fades in below.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A drumroll, followed by the sound of applause. On Family Court with Judge Penny, the end title theme of the show plays over the sounds. Sometimes, an short, upbeat theme is used.

Availability: Seen on syndicated shows like Da Vinci's Inquest, ReGenesis, Stone Undercover, Family Court with Judge Penny, and syndicated prints of Degrassi: The Next Generation (The N's prints of the show do not carry this logo; the Program Partners logo appears where The N's usually would in syndie prints.) Also seen on Merv Griffin's Crosswords on My Family TV and RTV.
