Background

This is Tom Bull's production company.

1st Logo (October 11, 1995-1999)

Logo: On a black background with a purple aurora, we see a tridimensional "PPI" logo colored in ice blue moving upward, with the "PRODUCTIONS PARTNERS INC." fading in below. Sometimes, a copyright date is seen under it.

Variant: A short version exists, which shows only the finished result of the logo.

Technique: The movement and shining.

Audio: A four-note guitar tune or the closing theme. On Jeff Foxworthy: Totally Committed, a whooshing sound is heard.

Availability: Appeared on early productions from this company.

2nd Logo (July 10, 1999-2004)

Logo: On a gray background, we see a box with a lonely looking desert that includes a railroad; all in blue tone. Below, there's the company name.

Technique: None.

Audio: The closing theme.

Availability: Unknown. [Examples?]

3rd Logo (2004-)

Logo: We see a purple-colored night desert with a railroad. The moon moves and vanishes while the sun rises, coloring the picture in day tones. The company name is wiped below and the logo is taken into a box.

Variant: In early years, the box was absent and the font was thinner. Also, the logo is placed on a bronze fabric background.

Technique: Simple changing effects.

Audio: Sounds of a passing train, or the closing theme.

Availability: Can be seen on numerous productions, including newest Chris Rock videos.
