In addition to offering movies and TV shows from a variety of companies, Netflix also offers original content such as House of Cards, Orange is the New Black, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and BoJack Horseman, as well as international shows and continuations of cancelled series.

Disney+ (pronounced Disney Plus) is an American subscription video on-demand streaming service owned and operated by the Direct-to-Consumer & International (DTCI) division of The Walt Disney Company. The service primarily distributes films and television series produced by Walt Disney Studios and Walt Disney Television, with the service advertising content from Disney's Marvel, National Geographic, Pixar, and Star Wars brands in particular. It originally launched on November 12, 2019.

Paramount+ (pronounced Paramount Plus; formerly known as CBS All Access) is an American subscription video on-demand over-the-top streaming service owned and operated by ViacomCBS Streaming, a subsidiary of ViacomCBS. Paramount+ delivers movies, crime dramas, news, cartoons and comedies. It offers original content, content newly aired on CBS's broadcast properties, and content from the ViacomCBS library.

The Peacock logo
Peacock is an American over-the-top video streaming service owned and operated by the Television and Streaming division of NBCUniversal, a subsidiary of Comcast. Named after the NBC logo, the service launched on July 15, 2020. The service primarily shows content from NBCUniversal studios and other third-party content providers, including television series, films, news, and sports programming. The service is available in a free ad-supported version with limited content, while premium tiers include a larger content library and access to additional NBC Sports and WWE Network content.

The Max logo
Max (formerly and still known in some regions as HBO Max) is a subscription video-on-demand streaming service owned by Warner Bros. Discovery Global Streaming and Interactive Entertainment, a division of Warner Bros. Discovery. The service offers the entire HBO catalog of movies and original series as well as additional content from Warner Bros. Pictures, Warner Bros. Television, New Line Cinema, Cartoon Network, Adult Swim, DC, Discovery Channel, TLC, ID, HGTV, Food Network, and other Warner Bros. Discovery-owned properties. The service also offers original movies and series known as Max Originals. The service also has third-party rights to content from Studio Ghibli, Comedy Central, and the BBC. HBO Max launched on May 27, 2020. Max is one of the combined company's two flagship streaming services, the other being Discovery+ (which primarily focuses on factual programming from the Discovery brands). HBO Max was rebranded as Max on May 23, 2023.

The Apple TV+ logo
Apple TV+ is a subscription video service which launched on November 1, 2019 in over 100 countries. It was announced in March 2019 at the Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park in Cupertino, California during the annual Apple Special Event. Among the celebrities involved with projects on the service who were in attendance during the announcement were Jennifer Aniston, Oprah Winfrey, Steven Spielberg and Jason Momoa. Apple TV+ content can be seen on apple.com and on the Apple TV app. The service offers original content (most of which is done through production deals with other companies) and a select amount of acquired movies and television series (such as Fraggle Rock and various Peanuts television specials).
