Pocket.watch

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

1st Logo (2017-)

Visuals: The Pocket.watch logo, seen at a 90 degree angle, pops in, with the dot missing. Then the dot, in which it has eyes and a mouth, enters the screen, saying "Catch ya soon!" and zooming out until it reaches the actual dot's spot. The dot becomes non-alive and the finished product pops out.

Variants:

  • Starting in 2020, after the logo zooms out, the Pocket.watch brand quickly zooms out with the Pocket.watch logo and a copyright notice under it.
  • On HobbyKids Adventures, the logo plays as normal, but after the logo zooms out the next logo is shown.

Technique: 2D animation.

Audio: A bounce sound is heard first, followed by the dot's dialogue (Most likely voiced by Rob Paulsen). Two whoosh sounds are heard when the dot zooms out, and where the finished product pops out.

Audio Variant: On HobbyKids Adventures, different sound effects are heard, with some sort of robotic sound at first. Then a whoosh and a splat sound is heard as the dot zooms out, finally proceeding with another robotic sound.

Availability: First seen on Skoogle and was seen on various Packet.watch videos and shows since 2017.

2nd Logo (June 22, 2019-March 14, 2020)

Visuals: The Pocket.watch logo very quickly zooms out on a white gradient background. A copyright notice is below it.

Technique: Just the logo very quickly zooming out.

Audio: A quick punch sound.

Availability: Only seen on HobbyKids Adventures.
