Background

On August 4, 2022, Koch Media rebranded to Plaion Pictures.

1st Logo (August 4, 2022-)

Visuals: A rounded bordered right facing play arrow with a thick vertical bar cutting through the bottom portion of the symbol is seen next to "PLAION PICTURES" in a stacked, steely font.

Technique: A still, digital graphic.

Audio: None.

Availability: It appears on German and Italian Blu-ray releases of international films such as Press Play and Broker.

2nd Logo (March 28, 2024-)

Visuals: A rounded light switch is flipped on in a white room, lighting up a small white dot in its lower portion. The shot cuts to three slider switches which are turned on one at a time through an upwards direction. The dots in this shot are placed above the switches. The next shot features a wheel directly facing the screen, turning as a meter on the left fills in lightness. Afterwards, a control knob turns to the right with five lighting dots circled around the switch. The last switch to be featured, is a short, rounded stick flicked to the right, lighting up the dot on the right. After all the switches are turned on, the screen cuts to the play button from before engraved on a plastic, circular surface, which glows radially clockwise. The symbol lights up and the screen dips to black. After the symbol scrolls upwards and glows, it reveals the text from before in a horizontal alignment, sliding in sync with the symbol before it and its glow rests.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Several light switches turning on are heard while a rising and dramatic, cinematic digital soundtrack plays, leading to a bass drop and a female voice reading the company name afterwards.

Availability: This logo made its earliest appearance on Plaion's Blu-ray release of Double Soul.
