Background

Piste Gamez, which started out as Deep Connection, is a video game company founded by Janne Kivilahti and Antti Suuronen.

1st Logo (2001)

Visuals: Over a black background, there is a white rectangle and a moving multi-colored circle lights moving around. The white rectangle then pans to the right, revealing a black and white Piste Gamez logo (which consists of a futuristic, white "PiSTe" in front of 6 multi-colored parallelograms, with each of them containing a letters from "PiSTe" and a white ring. Also contains a white "GAMEZ" in futuristic/blocky font below the "PiSTe.") . While moving, "PISTE GAMEZ PRESENTS" in blocky-like font with black outline appears below the rectangle. The text fades out and half-way across the panning of the rectangle, "A GAME BY JANNE KIVILAHTI" in the same font as before appears in place below the previous text. The entire logo fades out.

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: 2 long synthesized laser sounds.

Availability: Only seen on Q-Lat2.

2nd Logo (August 6, 2003)

Visuals: Over a black background, there is a moon with a single tree, grass and mushroom below it with Pekka sitting at the left of the grass. Later, the Piste Gamez logo (which consists of 3D multi-colored cuboid with each of them containing a letters from "PiSTE" jumbling above a yellow textured "GAmeZ" with the tail-end of the "Z" having a hand-like shape) quickly slides in from the left with reflections below it. After that, "PRESENTS 2003" in yellow, blocky font appears below.

Technique: 2D digital animation.

Audio: A charming music box-like music

Availability: Only seen on Pekka Kana 2.
