Visuals: On a black background, a rhombus containing a picture of a blue cloudy sky pans up from the bottom. The rhombus then divides into two pieces as the upper half flips into a gray colored triangle, with another arrow-like triangle shown at the top corner. The gray triangle zooms out to the bottom and the lower half of the rhombus moves out of the screen from the right. Then the text "НОВОСТИ" in white pans up from the bottom, while the blue Channel 1 Ostankino square logo drops down from the top. The "НОВОСТИ" text then rotates to a vertical position by turning to the right, as the Channel 1 Ostankino logo moves around slightly. The "НОВОСТИ" text places itself at the right side of the "1" of the Channel 1 Ostankino logo, and the same triangle zooms to the bottom from behind the logo. All the elements then settle.
Variant: There is an alternate variant, where multiple copies of the Channel 1 Ostankino logo with "НОВОСТИ" appear on most of the screen by a moving image of the mentioned logo, with the background featuring a moving large copy of the same logo in blue. After a second, the moving image zooms into the center, and the "НОВОСТИ" text copies itself near the bottom of the center to the top of the screen.
Technique: CGI. 2D computer animation for the alternate variant.
Audio: An ascending, repeating synth guitar arpeggio, ending with whooshes for most of the second half.
Audio Variant: The alternate variant only features the synth guitar arpeggio.
