Background

On October 1, 2010, Columbia Music Entertainment, Inc. was shifted back to the former name Nippon Columbia Co., Ltd. (日本コロムビア株式会社, Nippon Koromubia Kabushiki Kaisha), concurrent with 100th anniversary of its founding.

1st Logo (2010-present)

Logo: On a white background, the ripple forms the Columbia logo with the trademark "Magic Notes" inside the circle, then the note moves with the other notes appears, and the circle slides to reveal the name "NIPPON COLUMBIA CO. LTD." and the sparks appears on the circle.

Technique: the ripple, the moving of the musical note and the appearance of the company name.

Music/Sounds: a orchestral fanfare.

Availability: Seen on all video releases by the company for most of the period, including NHK Video releases.
