Background

New Tide Film Co. (新潮影業公司) was a short-lived Hong Kong film production company founded in the 1960's by a producer and presenter Ng Cho-Fan. The company only produced 3 movies.

1st Logo (July 10, 1964)

Visuals: On a cloudy background with water, we see 2 Chinese characters (潮新). Below them, we see its English translation (NEW (in the left) TIDE (in the right)).

Technique: None.

Audio: A happy-sounding triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Seen only on A Hong Kong Woman.

2nd Logo (September 11, 1970)

Visuals: On a yellow background, we see the name of the company in Chinese written backwards. Under it we see its English translation.

Technique: Again, none.

Audio: Like the last logo, a happy-sounding triumphant fanfare.

Availability: Only seen on To Marry By Demand of My Husband.
