Background

This was a video game publishing subdivision of the Motion Picture Corporation of America, focusing on distributing games based on MPCA's movies. In 1996, MPCA owners Brad Krevoy and Steve Stabler became Co-presidents of Orion Pictures and for a time MPCA Interactive was supplanted by Orion Interactive, Krevoy and Stabler serving as executive producers on their part. After Orion was bought out by Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in 1997, the MPCA Interactive name was revived.

Visuals: A flurry of stars/dots reveals the filmstrip from the MPCA logo in blue, while the eagle head outline draws in red. As the logo zooms out, a CD fades in behind it and the company name appears below. "INTERACTIVE" then zooms in and stops below the logo.

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: A metallic rising synth drone with a bang at the end.

Availability: So far, seen on the PC game adaptation of Soldier Boyz and Bloodwings: Pumpkinhead's Revenge for DOS.
