1st Logo (Late 1960s?-1975)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a white, rounded square containing the statue of Damdin Sükhbaatar and his horse with "МОНГОЛ ТЕЛЕВИЗ" in a stacked format sitting underneath, along with a broadcast tower emitting radio waves right next to it.

Variants: The logo could appear in different tints. For instance:

  • On The Mongolian Illustrated Works for Damdin Sükhbaatar, the logo is tinted green.
  • On One Day of the Pigeon, the logo is in sepia tone.
  • TV airings had the logo light blue-tinted.

Technique: A still printed image.

Audio: None, or the opening theme of the film.

Availability: Was known to appear in documentary films during the time, which includes One Day of the Pigeon (Лүнгийн нэг өдөр), The Mongolian Illustrated Works for Damdin Sükhbaatar (Д.Сүхбаатар Монголын зураачдын бүтээлд),Fall of Unity (Нэгдлийн намар), and Teenagers (Өсвөр үеийнхэн)

2nd Logo (1976-1980)

Visuals: On a grey background, there is the same statue of Damdin Sükhbaatar riding on his horse, where we can also see 2 arched texts, one of them containing "МОНГОЛ ТЕЛЕВИЗ" and with one of them containing the English translation "MONGOLIAN TELEVISION".

Technique: A still printed image.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Enkhee (Энхээ), Natural Challenge (Байгалийн сорилт), Mongolian Circus (Монгол Цирк), and Golden Road (Алтан шар зам).
