Visuals: On a black background is a red magnolia flower lying on a blue disc, with "magnolia" and "pictures" written to the right in a typewriter font.

Variant: On the trailer for Wonderful World, the background and petal outlines are white.

2nd Logo (May 26, 2002-September 13, 2005)


Visuals: On a bluish-purple background is a blue rolling film projector viewed from a slanted upwards angle, with copies of the Magnolia Pictures logo on the light. Suddenly, the projector faces towards the viewer and its light fills the screen. Then, a blue disc (part of the logo) slides to the left, wiping in the words "magnolia pictures" in the same font as the previous logo. The disc stops right next to the text, then a red magnolia flower (also part of the logo) fades in and places itself on the disc, forming the finished product, which is slightly bigger and less saturated than usual.
