Background

Lovely Pictures was an Pakistani in-house film production company from Lahore.

1st Logo (December 13, 1963)


Logo: Just the card with a heart pattern surrounding it and the white text "LOVELY PICTURES".

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Only seen on Cha Cha Kham Kha.

2nd Logo (December 4, 1964)

Logo: On a grey background, we see a set of text reading:

PRODUCTION

with all of them being in the color white.

FX/SFX: None.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic villainous-sounding 5-note string fanfare.

Availability: Only seen on Hath Jorri.

3rd logo (October 29, 1965)


Logo: We see a view of the Badshahi Mosque which was zoomed in, and it starts zooming out. After twenty-five seconds, it stopped zooming.

FX/SFX: The zooming.

Music/Sounds: A one-note piano sample, and then followed by the woman singing thoughout the logo.

Availability: Only seen on Pilpli Sahib.

4th Logo (1968-1984)


Logo: We see once again the Badshahi Mosque from the first logo but this time being a still footage, and the Urdu words "Lovely Pictures" wipes in from right to left. Afterwards, the text fades out.

FX/SFX: The text wiping in.

Music/Sounds: Same as the 2nd logo.

Availability: Seen on Mela Do Din Da, Badul Da Vera, and Ucha Shimla Jatt Da.
