Background

KRÁTKÝ FILM PRAHA a.s. is a Czech production company focusing mainly on educational, documentary and animated films established in 1957. Since 2005 it has been based in Olomouc (until then in Prague) and, in addition to its headquarters, it had branches in Brno, Pilsen and Zlín (Gottwald).

1st Logo (1947-present)

Logo: Depending on the movie, we see the text saying Kratky Film Praha.

Variants:

Sometimes, the text may added (example: Studio Bratri v Triku, Studio Jiriho Trnky, Studio Gottwaldov, or Studio Promethius)
Another variant says KF a.s.
For the films produced in Zlin, the text says Kratky Film Zlin.
In Na Pude (Toys in the Attic), the 2nd logo (without text) was appeared at the end of the movie.

FX/SFX: None or the scrolling of the text.

Music/Sounds: The opening/closing theme.

Availability: Appeared on film produced by Kratky Film Praha. It also appeared on Fimfarum, Toys in the Attic, and Taalta tuule myraa (Krtek ve filmu).

2nd Logo (1989-1996)

Logo: On the black background, the text KF was drawn. Followed by the project turn on featuring several CBS like eyes and the two hands as a frame, followed by the light turns on. As it happens, a.s. appeared.

FX/SFX: Animation is done by Jaroslav Doubrava from the studio Bratri v Triku.

Music/Sounds: It start as eerie sound followed by the techno music and the click after that the jolly music played.

Availability: Appeared on Pat and Mat VHS from aiF, The Club of the Laid Off, Ctyrlistek, and other programs on VHS.

3rd Logo (1996-Early 2000's)

Logo: On the brown background, we see the man fall down and gets a film camera as he run. Several animations from beaches to cities. After that, he get the negative on the film camera and zooms in. After that, the printed logo (a CBS like eye and two hands) and text Kratky Film Praha a.s. in Rockwell.

Variant: Sometimes it's on white background instead of brown.

FX/SFX: The concept was done by Pavel Koutsky and the animation is done by Jiri Trnka Studio.

Music/Sounds: A techno music after that the 5 note synth plays.

Availability: Appear on Krtek DVDs, and shows produced by Kratky Film Praha on the DVD. Don't expect to be appeared on Pat and Mat due to acquisition to Bonton.

4th Logo Early 2000's-present)

Logo: On the space background, we see the planet Earth, the planet Earth became an eye, where the two hands was formed and then it became white. The text Kratky Film Praha a.s. and the slogan "Vidite vic." appeared. The background became black.

Variant: Sometimes, a 4:3 and 16:9 version existed to be fit on television.

FX/SFX: CGI effects.

Music/Sounds: A spacey theme.

Availability: Appears on present day film produced by Kratky Film Praha.
