Background

This is John Masius' production company. It was originally known as Maysh, Ltd. Productions before it took on its current name.

1st Logo (January 8, 1999-December 20, 2002)

Visuals: There is John Masius in the living room, reading a newspaper while his big dog looks at him as it barks, causing Masius to look at him and sigh. The company name fades in underneath, followed by "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" in smaller text and in the same font.

Trivia: The early version is directly based off the logo for Masius' previous company, Maysh, Ltd. Productions.

Variant: On season 1 of Providence is Masius sleeping on a couch. He rolls back, with the company name's on top. The "IN ASSOCIATION WITH" text fades in on the bottom.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: The sound of the dog barking, the newspaper rustling as Masius puts it down. In the end, he sighs.

Audio Variants:

On season 1 of Providence, a woman says "He's, uh... in the meeting".
Original NBC airings used a generic theme with a voiceover.

Availability: Seen only on Providence.

2nd Logo (July 4, 2003-August 24, 2010)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a box of a cat named Murray, walking towards to the camera while meowing. The company name in the Tempus Sans font is below it.

Variant: A variant exists on season 1 of Dead Like Me: we see a box of a photo of the big dog and John Masius from the previous logo as he looks at the dog, with the company name below in caps lock. This version is also still.

Technique: Live-action.

Audio: Murray meowing and purring, then John Masius calls his name; otherwise the end theme plays over it.

Availability: Seen on Dead Like Me (excluding the pilot). Also appeared on seasons 1 and 2 of HawthoRNe.
