Background

Headgum is a podcast network founded and owned by former CollegeHumor employees Jake Hurwitz and Amir Blumenfeld

1st Logo (2016)

Visuals: A closeup shot of an old TV's channel knob is seen, with three lightening bolt symbols on the TV's corner. It cuts to the same shot, albeit with the knob rotated. This quickly cuts to a shot of a city skyline, with a TV static overlay over it, with the video also jittering/shaking, before transitioning into a different city skyline. While this section happens, the Headgum icon (a yellow lightening bolt symbol with the teal letters HG in a tall font with a white outline and navy blue extrusion effect over it) horizontally shakes into place (with a subtle chroma separation effect) before settling. After this happens, the city background turns to normal, before fading into navy blue. the text "HEADGUM VIDEO" appears in White with a teal drop shadow effect, zooming in and out as it fades in. A yellow line draws itself in from the center below the text.

Technique: Computer animation

Audio: The sound of a button being pressed is heard, followed by a synth wind-up effect. This turns into a short synthesized news-esque tune, with a female announcer saying "This is a Headgum Podcast.", ending with a beep

Availability: First seen on the video upload of the Living Room Show episode "This Is Why You're Single", and last seen on the Josh's Mindhouse episode "Lonely and Horny w/Jake and Amir!" (discussing the webseries of the same name)

2nd Logo (2016)

To Be Added (this is a draft after all)
