Background

HAP Film NV was an early Dutch film production company founded in 1914.

Logo (1914?-1916?)

Opening Visuals: Inside a patterned frame with a bump on the top, the giant words "HAP FILM" in a stacked format and in grey are behind the title of the movie.

Closing Visuals: Same as the opening logo except the text is simply replaced with "EINDE.".

Variant: On the Dutch release of Les salamandres, bottom text was added, reading:

ALLEENVERTOONINGSRECHT DER
H.A.P. FILM COMP. DEN HAAG

Technique: A still, printed image.

Audio: None.

Availability: It was seen on observational films such as the Dutch release of Les salamandres, as well as Portugal, both of which are preserved by the Eye Filmmuseum.
