Background

Hãng Phim Tài Liệu Và Khoa Học Trung Ương (English: Central Science And Documentary Film Studio) is one of the public film studios of Vietnam specializing in documentary production.

1st Logo (1980s)

Visuals: On a dark blue background, there is a text "XÍ NGHIỆP PHIM". The text "TÀI LIỆU & KHOA HỌC" zooms in via trail. Once it zooms in, the words "TRUNG ƯƠNG" appears below. Below it is the black/white squares with "VN" blinking inside the filmstrip.

Variants: On Chuyện tử tế, the background is blue, with all the logo being formed and below it, is a red/yellow filmstrip containing the text "ĐỊCH VỊ ANH HÙNG".

Technique: A still printed image or cel animation.

2nd Logo (2000s)

Visuals: The sequence starts on a starry blue sky with a water surface seen below, and multiple searchlights shown rotating around the sides. A golden sphere is shown with multiple curved golden filmstrips facing up rotating around it. The camera zooms to the sphere, as a red ribbon comes in swirling from the shapes into the sky. The camera pans up as it focuses on the ribbon, where it forms a "D"-style curved shape. A red paint streak draws in at the front of the "D" shape, now forming a "T" with a long curved streak at the right. The searchlights then freeze as the logo remains for a second, before everything fades out to the same logo zooming out with the text "SF" at the bottom of it. Below of the logo is the text "HÃNG PHIM" in golden, with the rest of the name "TÀI LIỆU VÀ KHOA HỌC TRUNG ƯƠNG below it. A bright yellow light is seen moving behind the name, as the background changes to a plain blue background. The name shines.

Audio: An ascending synth, seguing into a brief string theme which culminates in a majestic orchestral note.
