Background

Golden Films was a production company founded in 1988 by Diane Eskenazi. They were folded in 2004 into Cookie Jar Entertainment.

(1990-2004)

Logo: Against a white background, several letters of different colors (with arms and legs) move toward the screen, dancing in various ways. The camera then turns, showing the letters, still dancing, spelling out "GOLDEN FILMS" in these colors. After a few seconds, the letters morph into a serif font with a gold texture, forming "GOLDEN FILMS".

FX/SFX: The dancing letters and morphing effect, very cheap animation.

Music/Sounds: A catchy Latin-style tune.

Availability: Can be seen on straight-to-video public domain films as well as knockoffs of various Disney films, most of which are distributed by GoodTimes Entertainment.

Editor's Note: None.
