Forum:Very strange logo
Report post

I saw a strange logo in a DVD, it has the word "JAN" in it. It starts off with a temple, then a J appears with the word "JAN". Like, where did its elements come from? How does this exist? Is it a real logo? |

If you saw it on a DVD, chances are more than likely that the logo is real. Question is, what was the DVD where you found this logo from? |

It's fake. This is an edit on an already existing logo. I don't remember the name, but i sure do remember seeing it on either East Asian logo collections. |

Yeah, you can clearly see that the JAN text at the end is very poorly tacked on a black rectangle (you can see the glow of the real text behind it). Plus, the 'title screen' of this DVD is just the boxart to Hello Kitty: Happy Party Pals on Game Boy Advance with 'Collection Edition' tacked on to it (check the final few frames of the video). |

I see. This means that it's a bootleg DVD, and I should know because I some bootleg DVD openings yesterday. |

I saw it in an obscure Looney Tunes DVD, also can you tell me what's this logo that this logo used? |

Please don't spam requests for me to tell you what this logo stole. Remember, there are other people here on this wiki who can help you answer your question. |

If i could, i would have said. Unfortunately, even researching my Youtube history has proven futile. I'll update if i happen to find it again and remember. |

Can you send us a pic of the CD? It can give us a better understanding of the company. |

I did notify this user (politely) about it through the User board, and I did tell him (WindowsViennaFish) that he can contact another person or talk to the CLG Wiki Discord if he wants an answer to the question. |

From WindowsViennaFish2010: Where can I go to the CLG Wiki Discord Server? It says link has expired. Try the Discord link on the homepage. If that does not work, I'll ask Hb1290 to fix it. |

This logo gives me PS2/Gamecube vibes. Maybe we should be looking at video game companies? |

Me too, reminds me of the 1994 Konami logo. |

Search for logo in your YouTube history. I completely missed the mark when i did this. Most channels don't even use the word Logo that much when posting some logos. They go straight into the company name. |

I believe that the best bet for you to find the logo is to check the VCD openings on YouTube. East Asian countries love to use VCD, including Thailand and Hong Kong. |

Is there a video that has the pillared J logo in it? |

I guess it's a ripoff of this logo (sorry if it's low quality).

The quest is finally finished! I did thought it stole the Saban/Scherick logo, however according to Google Lens it stole the J-Bics (which was a Thai company) logo. Here is the comparison: ![]() |
