Just read some threads and got inspired so, basically, as the title says, send me an Argentine logo, and I'll say my opinion about it. |

 Lumiton is definitely one of my favourite logos from Argentina, I've been liking it since I discovered it, I love the font of the logo, it also has a very memorable fanfare (I like to hum it when Argentina plays a football match), and I love how loud and imposing is the gong noise. I like to think that this one inspired The Rank Organization to make their logo. .png) Never heard of this one before, but as a first impression, it's surprisingly good for an Argentine 80's logo, and I liked the inclusion of the dog, it gives the logo a funny/cute touch. |

What about the current Argentina Sono Film S.A.C.I. logo? I maybe a fan of CGI logos but this logo has a bad reputation amongst Argentinians. |

Aight, two logos from the same company, guess I'm gonna start with the current one. .png) Well, I gotta agree with my compatriots, first of all, they ruined the fanfare, in a COLOSSAL way. It sounds like it was made in Online Sequencer, it also feels souless and empty compared to the 70's logo, which in my opinion, it sounds imposing and creates a sense of belonging. And the animation is quite average, it goes without pain or glory. The 70's logo could easily continue to be used, to my eyes it still looks fresh, the current one's just... 2generic4me.  A very good one, almost the same case as Lumiton, but this logo's better, and yeah, it's because of the animation. Too impressive for the 30's. Though the fanfare sounds kinda lame compared to the 70's one. I saw people saying that it was scary or unnerving, not my case at all, I just get bewildered everytime I watch it. |

It kinda manages to look like those two Chinese "metallic-logo-on-morning-sky" " logos, that being Wanda Media and China Film Group Corporation. |

I want to see your reaction at Class Video. That logo is HORRIBLE in my opinion, yet I managed to watch the entire thing. And trust me, it is NOT what you think it is. |

What about the 1990 Telefe logo? That logo's animation isn't the greatest. Plus, the AVID-suggested VIDEOS of the logo aren't even accurate to the logo. Hell, they use the logo AFTER's video finds instead.  THIS is the actual logo. |

_(Credit_-_Raro_VHS).png) Okay, I already knew this logo, but my opinion is, well, nothing out of the ordinary. It's horrible. The background is horrible, the font is horrible, the animation is horrible (and really slow), the music... is not horrible but guess what, you can barely hear it, it keeps swooping up and down in volume. The only positive aspect of the logo had the worst fate. Unfortunate that this logo is from my country. In fact, this logo disgusts me so much, that I had to do a modified version of the logo just to feel better. .png) Controversial opinion... I don't really hate it. This logo is just, really bizarre, it has quite strange animation (probably stolen), and EXTREMELY nightmare-fuel "music". But I'm starting to think, the name might not be a rip-off, maybe the owner of the company was called Sergio García (just to say a name) and made your typical company name based on four letters of the owner's name (like Cinar). Of course I cannot guarantee that, but hey, it's a possibility. Nothing special tbh, it's a really short logo, and I've never been a fan of the channel. Average animation, average music, average outcome. So, quite average in my opinion. |

Review Producciones Optimist, S.A., please! This logo is admittedly on my "guilty pleasure logos" list. I know it sucks in quality but for some reason there's something about this logo that I ironically like. |

.png) Hey, you're not alone. I, personally and openly love this logo, even with that sucky animation, and despite the fact that the color scheme looks really bad by itself. The music is really good, and it saves the logo a lot. And how could I not love it? It appeared in a movie that stars Guillermo Francella (a renowned actor in Argentina). Producciones Optimist S.A. is so strange it's awesome. |

I frankly didn't like this one. Quite a messy background (it reminds me of a crazy mirror house), and the fanfare sounds really muffled, unpleasant experience. Overlong, definitely overlong. It's literally 50 seconds of a sculpture of a woman spinning in circles, and then... a somber-grayed VideoVestal. Guh, Class Video-tier. The music is, alright but doesn't save the logo. |

Do all the logos HAVE to be Argentine? There are some cool, bad, and cheesy logos out there that aren't Argentine. The United States has TONS of em, Canada has a few, and even other Spanish countries like Mexico, Bolivia, Uruguay, Chile, any Spanish country you can think of, they have an obscure yet cheesy VHS logo that's always gotta be extinct. |

Plus, there are pretty few Argentine VHS logo companies anyway, and the few that we DO have are either overrated or really obscure yet sometimes good and unintentionally awesome. |

As for a non-Argentine logo, I recommend Random House Home VIdeo's 1984 and 2008 logo. It's a real treat, don't get me wrong. |

Well, from other Latin countries I did consider including them before posting the thread, but I have seen for years that Argentine logos have more exposure precisely because of their cheesiness (most of the cases, there are some hidden gems) and RaroVHS' uploads. The point of the thread though, was to give a more "local" (to put it somehow) point of view of the logos. Also, they don't have to strictly be VHS logos, if the logo is in the Argentina category, it counts (there are 231 Argentine logos so far, they're not so few) |

I doubt I'll finish reviewing all of them, 231 is certainly not a small number. But if that were the case, then I suppose I would have to review the rest of the Latin American logos. If it's because of the title of the thread, well, I meant that I was going to go through all the ones that were sent to me, trying not to leave any requests out. Not the best choice of words but, eh. |

But since you suggested Random House Home Video, well I'm going to review it, an exception to the rule is not a crime either. .png) Overall, I gotta agree with you, it IS a real treat, nice music, very cool animation, it gives that nostalgic 80's vibes, no wonder why they used this until 2008. Timeless logo, definitely. |

Well, what about ATC (Argentina Televisora Color)'s 1980 logo? It's VERY cheesy, with little to no animation. Plus, the music choice is REALLY odd. |

The logo looks nice (rainbow yay), but the effects are very lazy and basic, and the music is really odd and unpleasant to hear (the loudness of the tape doesn't help at all). With that aside, the current incarnation of ATC (Televisión Pública Argentina), is the channel where I watch the Qatar 2022 World Cup... it has nothing to do with anything but I wanted to say it. _Presentacion.jpg) Hey, not bad at all! Yeah, it doesn't have the greatest effects but, nothing beats that intro with the hands and ´the disco tune. I'm actually impressed, I had come across this logo before on YouTube but never had an interest in seeing it until now. As they would say here: Un logo bastante piola. .png) Uh... that was weird. Not scary as some people say, just weird, in every aspect. Also, why are there two eyes in the logo? It simply doesn't make much sense. I like the music tho, makes me wanna dance. |

.png) Bad one, it's a cool idea indeed, but it has a really poor execution, and the pharaoh drawings make me feel a little bit awkward I don't know why, and who the heck thought it was a good idea mix brown with blue and yellow? Music is ok, not a bad choice, just it bothers me the volume fluctuation, but I think that's a tape issue. |

 Aight, as far as I know the background montage is not stolen (or is it? Lemme know please), which gives it positive points, although it kinda flops by deciding to put a bland text with the name of the company. I like the music, it accompanies the logo well. So I would say it's a "Not bad" logo .png) I harshly dislike this logo, too gaudy and eye-grating, only positive aspect is the music but everything else is GOLDEN-COLORED PUKE, like, who thought it was a good idea to make the logo flash like THAT. Also, at the end of the video you can see that "OTROS ESTRENOS DE DE FAX" is misspelled, you don't repeat "DE" two times in a Spanish sentence.  This is a cool one, the dreamy synth music is quite soothing (the chimes are kinda annoying tho), although it has simple effects, they executed the idea pretty well. Nothing to complain about this logo.  Trippy and kinda hypnotizing, of course, but pretty cool indeed! I personally like the orchestral fanfare, gives me a lot of memories, plus it's a classic. For an 80's Argentine logo, it surprises me the quantity of movements the colors have. It looks like a logo that could appear on my dreams.  w h a t i s t h i s . Well, it's simple... and extremely boring. I don't like the effects they used, and the silence , uh, is not my favorite soundtrack for a logo. And the grey background just makes it even more boring. Not the worst logo tho, we have Fax Video Design after all. [There is no image for Esedea Film... nor a page, so I'll send the video]

I totally agree. The logo of the 70's of Argentina Sono Film is a real charm (mostly because of the music). With a bit of restoration, it could easily be kept as the current logo. (But they decided to mess it up with the 2016 one) |

Judging by the failure of the 2016 logo, I think it personally should've been kept for 1 year, then brought back to the 70s one. Sorta like, 2016-2017, and the 70s logo is... (1970s-2015, 2017-) |

And to think that this SAME iconic fanfare was used for 80 YEARS before it was changed to THAT Online Sequencer junk just feels SUPER anticlimactic and it also is like Argentina Sono Film is braindead for trying to change what was once an iconic part of their logo in Argentina. |

Yeah, but I think it also influences the fact that the company and probably its films are not really that known in the current mainstream Argentine society, so nothing stopped them from keeping that cheap replacement. |

I can't describe it further, too blatant. .png) Ok, the animation is fine for an 80's logo from my country... what the heck is that music though? Too dissonant, and were those strange accompanying sounds really necessary? _(From_-_Sandwicheria_Crustaceo_Cascarudo_YouTube_channel).png) Two words: nightmare fuel. 2nd most shocking Argentine logo I have ever seen, I didn't watch the whole thing, too awkward for me.. .png) To be honest, quite uninteresting, the animation is very quick and the music is mediocre. There is nothing to complain or praise here. |
