So, the illusive DIC "Kid in Bed" revival logo from 2003 has had absolutely no source at all of where it was originally from.

To be honest, I could believe that it may have actually been DIC's website introduction from 2002 until around 2004 before they changed it to the orange flash logo that has already been preserved.

The file name was "diclogo10.swf" (the later one that is preserved is "intro.swf") but sadly the file is completely lost, as the Wayback Machine never preserved it, so who knows what was actually on there. It's a sign of something being lost through time.

That really sucks, when something like that gets lost to time. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say we can probably assume that's where that particular variant came from.

But still, that SWF file could have been anything.

Hi all! First post in this forum.

I can tell you that I remember seeing it on Speed Racer reruns on the Speed Network (appropriately enough), around the time you mention. At least early 2000s.

Alrighty. I did find out that DIC did license the original series when they licensed Speed Racer X, so there we go.

I have a theory. This could’ve been meant for a DiC employee video. I could be wrong.

Actually copies could be seen for awhile...here's proof it was on Speed Racer...

The marathon ran from 2003-2004 and is the only confirmed appearance of the logo, so does anyone know where 2005 came from as the final year of the logo?

I know the info of course came from the old AVID (then CLG), but it's been accepted for a very long time that 2005 was the absolute final year of the 'Kid in Bed' logo.

Well, we at least found the logo anyways.
