Background

Flying Bark Productions was founded in 1962 in Israel by Yoram Gross as "Yoram Gross Films". In 1968, it moved to Australia, where it made Dot and the Kangaroo. The film was such a hit that eight more sequels followed. The studio became famous upon the success of franchises such as Dot, Blinky Bill and Tabaluga.

After season 2 of Blinky Bill, Village Roadshow purchased Gross' animation studio in 1996 under the new name of Yoram Gross Village Roadshow. Two years later, it teamed up with EM.TV Television to distribute its shows around the world after a buyout from Village Roadshow. In 2007, when EM.TV Television closed down, the company was renamed "Flying Bark Productions". The Yoram Gross/EM.TV library was sold to Studio 100 in 2008; that same year, they acquired Flying Bark as well after EM.TV changed its name to EM.Sport Media AG.

In 2012, Flying Bark formed a multi-year production deal with Studio 100, which would distribute their films under the Studio 100 Animation label, with Flying Bark aiming to release a film every two years. As of 2014, after the theatrical release of Maya the Bee: The Movie (based on the Maya the Bee CGI series and the book of the same name), Flying Bark is the only high-end animation studio in Australia, producing animated series for ABC3, Seven Network and ABC Kids, as well as for television and streaming services.

Visuals: During the opening titles of the film is Yoram Gross' signature. The word "presents" is under it.

Variants:

• The signature may or may not be stacked.
• Some films would have a smaller version of this logo above the title card.

Audio: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Can be found on DVDs of Dot and the Kangaroo and its sequels. It can also seen on other series such as The Adventures of Blinky Bill.

Yoram Gross Village Roadshow

Logo (September 5, 1998-March 27, 1999)

Visuals: Over a black/blue/cyan gradient background is the script words in 3D "Yoram Gross" with Yoram Gross's symbol, with Blinky Bill holding a sack and the words "VILLAGE ROADSHOW" with the "V" logo that was used on Roadshow Entertainment/Village Roadshow Pictures.

Technique: None. ^{[possible misuse]}

Audio: The closing theme.

Availability: Seen on Skippy: Adventures in Bushtown and Dumb Bunnies, which haven't aired on television since its last airing on the CBS Kidshow block in the late 90s. It is however intact on the Tubi prints of the said show.

Yoram Gross/EM.TV

1st Logo (September 10, 1999-September 30, 2006)

Visuals: Over a sky background, Yoram Gross' signature from the 1st logo (but the letter "G" is altered) flies in the sky. Next to that is Blinky Bill holding a sack. Under this is the EM.TV Television logo as it shines.

Variants:

• On Bambaloo, a still version appears on a black background.
• The logo can be also still.
• In later years, the logo was enhanced and remade in widescreen. The EM.TV logo is made by sparkles.
• On Atmosfear: The DVD Board Game, the still logo is purple.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A 4-note horn theme or the ending theme of the show.

Availability: Seen on Flipper and Lopaka, Old Tom, Fairy Tale Police Department, Bamabaloo, Seaside Hotel, and Deadly.

2nd Logo (September 18-October 8, 2006)

Visuals: On a black background, there are two squares. One square has three dots (one green, one tan and one white). The other has the 2004 EM.TV Television logo. Under them, there are the words "Yoram Gross-EM.TV".

Audio: Just the closing theme of the show.

Availability: Only seen on early episodes of season 1 of Dive Olly Dive!.

1st Logo (October 15, 2006-2021)

Visuals: Over a blue backdrop, there is a distorted rectangle with a dog with a propeller tail on him, with the EM.TV logo in a red square next to it. He barks and the word "BARK" floats out of his mouth and lands next to him, as the text "FLYING" and "PRODUCTIONS" (or "DISTRIBUTION") fades in around it.

Bylines:

• October 15, 2006-2008: Just the EM.TV logo.
• 2008-: "A STUDIO100 COMPANY" (with "STUDIO100" in the Bank Gothic MD BT font).

Variant: The animated distribution variant appears before the opening, while the production logo is still and shown in the closing credits.

Technique: Flash animation or none.

Audio: The dog barking. For the closing version, it's the end theme of the show.

Availability:

• It was seen on Flying Bark's content starting with Staines Down Drains, later episodes of season 1 and all of season 2 of Dive Olly Dive!, Oh Yuck, and several others.
• Some shows don't use this logo as they only provided animation services.

2nd Logo (December 19, 2022-)

Visuals: On a white background is an updated version of the logo, with the barking dog with a propeller tail on him and now has a notch. Next to him are the words "FLYING BARK" with "PRODUCTIONS" in grey.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

Availability: It made its earliest appearance on their 2022 showreel.
