Background

Flicks Films was a British animation studio owned by Terry Ward and Trevor Bond. Founded in 1973 as "Mr. Films", the studio was best known for the original Mr. Men and Little Miss TV series. Flicks Films shut down in 2007.

1st Logo (January 9, 1998-January 5, 2000)

Logo: On a black background, we see inside a box a baby sleeping in his bed with a pacifier in his mouth. The text "aflicksfilm" with "flicks" in a bigger font is seen below the box.

Variant: On episode 1 of Timbuctoo, the logo is animated, as the baby is seen sucking his pacifier.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Music/Sounds: An 8-note musicbox Tune.

Music/Sounds Variant: On episode 1 of Timbuctoo, a different 16-note musicbox tune is heard.

Availability: Seen on Timbuctoo.
