1st Logo (1986-1995)

Visuals: Three diamond shaped lights fade in, which is immediately followed by three red zigzag-shaped lines (representing the three Fs) over a black and white target against a cerulean silk background. The lights appear to be shining on the corners of the Fs. The lights spin counter-clockwise as three of the same red Fs appear below the target, one by one and spaced out. Next to each F, "IRST", "LOOR" and "ICTURES" in white fades in and glows.

Technique: Live-action and chyron effects.

Audio: A drum roll followed by a proud trumpet fanfare and four drum bangs.

Audio variants:

  • An alternate music piece exists, which consists of a held synth note with three high-pitched synth notes in sync with the Fs appearing and a deeper note as the text glows.
  • The logo may be silent or use the movie's opening theme.

Availability: Found on their earlier releases including Flodders in America and De Noorderlingen.

2nd Logo (1999-2004)

Visuals: Against a cerulean curtain background, two silver rings and a cylinder zoom out and spin. Below it is the company name, also zooming out and with its three Fs being red zigzag shapes. Three red opaque streaks are seen orbiting the shapes before they collide to form the aforementioned Fs. As this happens, the shapes (representing a target) fade to white.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on films such as Edelweiss Pirates and Resistance.
