Background

Fabbri Video was an Italian video distributor and a former division of the publisher of Fabbri Editori.

1st Logo (1990-1999?)

Visuals: On a black background, several vertical lines draw in at a angle and rotate, while more horizontal lines rotate in. They soon converge into a large rectangular grid while the background turns into a cloudy blue background. Several circles then draw in on the grid, which is followed by the wiping of "FABBRI" in a outline form. "VIDEO" also wipes in below before both fade to gold as a silver plate appear behind them. The grid then disappears and the plates split, zooming towards the screen at angles. A blue laser shoots across the middle.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: Starts with beeping echoing in the background, before following up with a triumphant fanfare. The fanfare repeats 3 times, each higher pitched and rearranged, with chimes in between them. One final note plays when the laser sweeps across the screen.

Availability: Can be seen on tapes from the Astronomia Video and Avventure senza tempo collections.

2nd Logo (1999?-2002)

Visuals: A white lens flare moves up, revealing several clear blue hemispheres revolving around each other. They also have some blue coloring to them. Inside them, a stack of 2 blue rectangular prisms revolve around in different directions. The camera lifts up to see the prisms, which stop to reveal "FABBRI VIDEO" on its side. A lens flare appears over the logo as the hemispheres revolve in the background, which is black.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A dreamy synth fanfare.
