Background

Televisi Republik Indonesia (or often abbreviated as "TVRI") is a public television network and the oldest television network in Indonesia. Its national headquarters is in Gelora, Central Jakarta.

1st ID (1979-1982)

Visuals: Over a dark-green background is the TVRI logo in black inside a bulging white box with the RGB colours curving in the bottom right corner. There is also the text "Televisi Republik Indonesia" in white, below the white square.

Technique: None.

Audio: The first 6 notes of the song "Garuda Pancasila", which repeats twice, played on a vibraphone.

Avaiability: Extinct.

2nd ID (1982-1985)

Visuals: On a sky-blue background, there is a sketch of the station's headquarters with the station name in Times New Roman, all of which are in white.

Clock ID: Before the news programme Dunia dalam Berita, a digital clock is shown below the logo.

Technique: None.

Audio: Same as the previous logo.

3rd ID (1985-1988)

Visuals: The TVRI logo, which is a blue armillary sphere with "TVRI" in a futuristic font inside enclosed within a rounded orange pentagon is seen rotating counterclockwise on a black background. As it stops, the station name in orange and in a stacked format zooms in from the top and stops at the bottom.

Technique: Computer animation.

Audio: A rising orchestral fanfare.

4th ID (1989)

Visuals: There are what appear to be various golden sculptures being illuminated by multicolored lights on a black background. In front of all of that is the station's name in a cursive manner.

Clock ID: Before the news programme Dunia dalam Berita, a digital clock is shown below the logo.

Technique: None.

Audio: Same as the 1st logo.

5th ID (1989-1990)

Visuals: A screenshot of the station's headquarters is displayed. The TVRI logo then shoots out from the building and travels to the top-right corner, spinning when it reaches there. The station's name in yellow and in a stacked format can be seen on the bottom.

Technique: Analog computer animation.

Audio: Same as the 3rd logo.

6th ID (29 March 2019-)

Visuals: Unknown
