Background

Saudi TV Channel 2, Saudi 2 or KSA2 was the secondary main channel of the Saudi Arabian government. Unlike Al Saudiya, which centres on Arabic-language shows, the channel mostly broadcasted in English. Following its conversion to a 24-hour format in 2007 it also transmitted in European and North American territory. The channel ceased its operations on December 22, 2017.
