Background

Islam Channel is a UK-based, free-to-air, English language, Islamic-focused satellite television channel funded by advertising and donations. It was founded in 2004 by Mohamed Ali Harrath (born 1963), a Tunisian activist and businessman who is also its chief executive officer. It was reported in 2008 that UK government research found that 59% of British Muslims watched the channel. It broadcasts across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, is streamed live on the internet and is soon to commence broadcasting in North America. Islam Channel began broadcasting in March 2004 on Sky Digital channel 836, but subsequently moved to channel 813, then 806, then again to 727, now 737. In April 2010, it launched on Freesat channel 693. Since its launch, the channel has expanded its range of programming, including programmes regarding current affairs, education, Islamic values, Islamic doctrine, as well as domestic, financial and community related topics.

An prototype variant exists, where it reads "CHANNEL" in a cheaper/remade font.
There's an early variant where the "CHANNEL" font changed slightly.

Availability: No longer current. However, it can be still seen on some bumpers, the Programme to be continued... bumper until the late 2010s, Now on Islam Channel bumpers and this logo on some Sky boxes until early 2020.

Variant: There's an prototype variant seen on YouTube thumbnails where it's just seen the words "ic" with a play button in the "c".

Availability: Current. The normal variant was first debuted on Islam Channel's YouTube channel on March 24th, 2021 and on this channel since April 12th, 2021.
