Background
Balena Productions is a YouTube animation channel created by Steven Page. Although the channel was created in 2010, it's first animation was created in 2008. The channel has over 1 million subscribers as of 2024. The channel is famous for creating Sonic The Hedgehog fan animations.

Since there are many videos by the channel that have since been deleted, there wouldn't be any full dates.

Visuals: On a dark background, a silver artwork of an orca whale fades in with the stacked text BALENA PRODUCTIONS in (presumably) Times New Roman font, placed below. The logo then fades out.
Variants:
- On the last year of the logo's existence, the logo is superimposed on a view of an ocean.
- There's a christmas variant where the orca whale has a santa hat along with snow falling in front of the logo.
Technique: Most likely Flash animation.
Audio: None.
Audio Variants:
- On Sonic in Jaws, sounds of the ocean are heard, then the sound of a whale is heard when the logo appears.
- On the christmas variant, the opening music to the video.
Availability: Seen on all animations made by Balena Productions from 2008 to 2011.
Legacy: The artwork of an orca whale would become the main symbol of Balena Productions and would be used in the subsequent logos that followed after.
