Logo (5 January 1984-6 February 1986)

Visuals: The logo starts off with something undetermined in dark red slowly zooming out and rotating. The thing rotating reveals to be a map of Europe once the map is zoomed out far enough, and the background reveals to be gray. After the map rotates to a 360 degree angle, the rotating and zooming stops. After about 2 seconds, a yellow circle trail comes in, and it forms itself via a "glow" effect to reveal a letter "c". Two more of these circle trails come in as well, with one forming in the centre, carrying the letter "d", and the last one forms on the right, this time with the letter "e" inside. Finally, when the acronym circles are formed, the white text "COMPAGNIA DISTRIBUZIONE EUROPEA S.p.A" types itself in on the right hand side below the last two yellow circles.

Technique: Traditional animation.

Audio: A deep synth, accompanied with drones and high-pitched notes syncing to the shooting and typing.
