Background

Cometstone Pictures was a film company owned by Lebanese filmmaker Anthony Waller.

1st Logo (December 25, 1997)

Visuals: Over a black background is the white text "COMETSTONE". Against the "O" is a white streak with a dot on the end of it.

Technique: None.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen only at the end of An American Werewolf in Paris.

2nd Logo (October 27, 2000)

Visuals: On a blue background, there is a tilted red rectangle, looking like the cover of a book. At the bottom of it is "COMETSTONE in a bold white Futura font, and on top of it is a blue streak with a yellow dot at the end of it (presumably a comet). The word "PRESENTS", in red, is seen next to it.

Variant: There is a full animated version which only appeared on international prints of The Little Vampire. There is a yellow ball fly on a black background. A blue semicircle slides next to the ball and the screen zooms out as the semicircle is encapsulated into a crescent on the red rectangle, with the yellow dot flashing on top of it. The finished logo is the same as the still variant.

Technique: None.

Audio: The opening theme of the movie.

Availability: Seen only on The Little Vampire.
