1st Logo (1950s)

Visuals: Over a black background, "CINEMATECA BRASILEIRA" appears letter by letter in with 2 circles at the top and bottom appearing. "apresneta" appears letter by letter. The circle then goes out and the text then wipes out.

Technique: 2D cel animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on some movies like Floradas Na Serra.

2nd Logo (1970s)

Visuals: Over a black background, there are 2 filmrolls rotating. It then crossfades to a red circle with a line forming at between. "cinemateca breasileira" appears letter by letter and "apresenta" appears below it.

Technique: 2D cel animation.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on some movies like Passe Livre.

3rd Logo (1980s)

Visuals: Over a white background, the blue square zooms in with squares moving and line appearing, forming a filmstrip. While the filmstrip is almost done, there is a man riding a horse inside the filmstrip. After that, it zooms out to the green hat, which afterwards, spins and forms a directors' chair. The filmstrip then reassamble into the company name, which goes to below the directors' chair. "90 ANOS" is below it.

Technique: 2D cel animation.

Audio: A flute theme and rock theme.

Availability: Seen on some movies like Noites do Sertão.
