Chucklefish Limited

Background

Chucklefish Limited is a British video game developer and publisher based in London. Founded in June 2011 by Finn Brice, the company specialises in action-adventure games. Chucklefish is best known for developing 2016's Starbound, as well as publishing Risk of Rain (2013) and Stardew Valley (2016).

1st Logo (2011)

Logo: On the black background, we see an orange smiling pufferfish-like creature with the word "Chucklefish" below in orange. Everything is pixelated.

FX/SFX: None, unless counting fade in/out.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Only on the Steam launch trailer for Wanderlust: Rebirth.

2nd Logo (2012)

Logo: On the white background, the pufferfish from before drops downs and bounces to the center and the same company name appears.

FX/SFX: The pufferfish and the name.

Music/Sounds: The ending part of the music.

Availability: Appeared in Risk of Rain.

3rd Logo (2016-)

Logo: On the black background, a dark gray rectangle with a round orange fish (similar to the pufferfish from the 1st two logos, but doesn't have spikes, facing left and his eyes are beady black), zooms in. The fish then chuckles, releasing two bubbles in the process, ending with the words "ChuckleFiSH" with "Chuckle" in the sans-serif font and orange "FiSH" in the semi-serif font, stacked together, fading in below.

FX/SFX: The zooming, the fish, and the name.

Music/Sounds: Just the sound of an innocent man chuckling.

Availability: Appeared in Starbound and maybe future games published.
