Public Russian Television

1st Logo (January 1, 1997-February 13, 2000)

Visuals: On the same background used for the Novosti intro of the time, albeit with a transparent wireframe globe instead of a regular one, the text "ОБЩЕСТВЕННОЕ РОССИЙСКОЕ ТЕЛЕВИДЕНИЕ", with the last word being located below two former ones, fades in near the top of the screen. Then a sky blue horizontal line slowly passes from the left below, causing the text "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ", in spaced-out letters, to appear letter-by-letter.

Technique: CGI animation for the background, and 2D computer effects for the texts.

Audio: A snippet of "In The Upper Atmosphere" by Zazen of the Enlightenment album.

Availability: Seen on their programs like Эти забавные животные and Здесь и Сейчас.

2nd Logo (February 14, 2000-September 23, 2001)

Visuals: On a black background, a small blurry turquoise circle forms into five sharp circles containing the close-up of splash of water from a drop at the center of the screen. They start to slowly grow and move to various corners of the screen as another circle, containing the cloudy sky timelapse, fades in near the middle-left and moves to the top, while the footage contained within a smallest circle at the center fades into the same cloudy sky, albeit less saturated. As the circles become bigger, three smallest ones out of all of them wipe out horizontally/vertically, and a horizontal border appears in the middle of the screen via multiple moving vertical stripes, containing the different footage of a cloudy sky, big letters "ОРТ" overlapping the footage along with their outlines (excluding the counters of letters О and Р) containing the different cloudy sky, and a group of multiple transparent squares/vertical stripes at the bottom of a border. Then the rest of the cricles fade out, and the tall text "ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" in spaced-out letters, with its reflection below, fades in below a border.

Variant: A short version starts with a forming border, with circles being absent.

Technique: A mix of live-action and 2D computer animation.

Audio: A whoosh seguing into a majestic new-age synth orchestra fanfare, accompanying synthesized pings and a futuristic whoosh, leading to a five-note synth-violin jingle, with the last note being held out over a drumroll and a choir. Like the rest of the ORT branding of the time, it was composed by Sergey Chekryzhov.

Audio Variant: On the film Особенности национальной охоты в зимний период, it is silent.

3rd Logo (September 24, 2001-September 1, 2002)

Visuals: The sequence starts with multiple thin white lines rotating around the screen with several segmented light/royal/dark blue gradient colors formed by them, with some of them showing a cloudy sky at daytime. The lines eventually settle themselves to form the current ORT logo at the center, which fades in a light blue gradient as the footage of a cloudy sky disappears. Then the white text "ОРТ ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" (in Micra font) fades in letter-by-letter at the random order in the middle of the screen, while spacing out as the lines with segmented colors fade out, and the logo wipes out via multiple diagonal bars, leaving the text which also fades out afterwards.

Technique: Computer animation, with live-action footage for the cloudy sky.

Audio: A light new-age synth pad sounder (used in the regular idents of the time) over a droning synth sounder, accompanying a faint metallic sound and faint whooshes near the end.

Channel One (Russia)

1st Logo (September 2, 2002-August 31, 2005)

Visuals: Same as the former 2001 ORT production logo, but the text at the end reads "ПЕРВЫЙ КАНАЛ ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ".

Variant: There exists a reverse version, where everything also happens at a slightly slower pace, and the text simply reads the channel name.

Technique: Computer animation, with live-action footage for the cloudy sky.

Audio: A quiet crystallized synth hum ("Frosty" from Spectrasonics' Distorted Reality 1 sample CD) accompanying some rising whooshes ("Sci-Fi Sting", "Snake Byte" and "Shards" from the Distorted Reality 1 sample CD).

Audio Variant: A reverse version has a quiet metallic hit ("Pit Hit 3" from Spectrasonics' Distorted Reality 1) near the middle of the logo, with the beginning of the music being extended.

2nd Logo (September 1, 2005-August 15, 2010)

Visuals: In the cloudy sky at daytime, the camera moves from the left across three mirror glass diagonal bars, which appear to contain the parts of the Channel One logo in translucent white, extruded to a glass wall containing multiple tilted, transparent white gradient parallelogram shapes. The camera turns to the front as the diagonal bars form the logo in the middle of the screen, while the white stacked text "ПЕРВЫЙ КАНАЛ ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" appears letter-by-letter near the bottom of the screen while spacing out.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: The August 2005 promo bumper theme.

3rd Logo (August 16, 2010-February 10, 2013)

Visuals: In a cloudy sky at daytime, six thick mirror glass curves appear flying from afar to the right, getting closer to the camera as it turns to the right. The curves eventually fly out to the center over moving clouds near the bottom to form the Channel One logo in white by six diagonal bars, while the text "первый канал представляет" fades in below as it spaces out slightly.

Variant: A winter-themed version has a snowfall, which fades out near the ending of the logo.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: The beginning of Franz von Suppé's overture to the opera Leichte Kavallerie, followed by a whoosh when the logo is formed and then an announcer (Alexey Neklyudov) saying "Первый канал... представляет!".

Availability: The logo was seen on the Жить здорово episodes from this time period.

4th Logo (February 11, 2013-)

Visuals: In the darkness with a starfield, surrounded by a white-outlined geomteric shape is a perceived pattern forming into the Channel One logo, which then glows in a blue color as the camera slowly turns around it, and later collapses in the air while fading out along with a larger geometric shape piece-by-piece.

Variant: An alternate variant has the white stacked text "ПЕРВЫЙ КАНАЛ ПРЕДСТАВЛЯЕТ" fading in and out at the middle of the screen, with the channel name spacing out slightly.

Technique: CGI animation.

Audio: A calm rising synth chord with electronic beeping sounds.

Audio Variant: On the pre-2017 Жить здорово episodes, an announcer from before was included.
