Blue Diamond Video

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Logo (1980s-1990s)

Visuals: On a moving blue/purple background, some stars are seen which move back. A zooming/rotating asteroid covers the center of the screen. Two orange laser lines shoot it, and the asteroid "jumps" so it can get more closer to the screen. It breaks and reveals a spinning blue diamond. A star appears on the left of it. The diamond zooms in for a second. "BLUE DIAMOND VIDEO", letter-by-letter, appears below it. The blue letters B, D and V appear, zoom out and place diagonally in front of the diamond.

Technique: Early CGI.

Audio: A droning synth bass note, with two synth twinkles. Two laser sounds when the lines shoot the asteroid, and then an explosion. A drumbeat later plays, as the bass note changes into a triumphant 2-note synth theme. A male voice then says "Blue Diamond Video. La distribucion en video."
