Revision as of 20:35, 25 October 2022 by imported>Vgerrycastro (→‎2nd Bumper (1995-2001))

1st Bumper (1991-1995)

Bumper: It’s almost the same as the warning screen, but the BAF logo is replaced by "BVF", the VCR background is used instead of people, and either an AL, 12, or 16 rating appears, followed by a Black rectangle appears and text reading "Deze videofilm is geschikt voor kijkers" ("van alle leeftijden" for AL releases; "vanaf 12/16 jaar" for 12/16 releases). The bumper then fades to black.

FX/SFX: The rating and text fading in.

Music/Sounds: None.

Availability: Same as the warning screen at the time, except on Disney tapes.

2nd Bumper (1995-2001)

Bumper: The still of a 1995-2000 BAF Video Warning screen shows up, then an AL/MGAL/MG7/12/16 rating fades in followed by "Deze videofilm is geschikt voor kijkers" ("van alle leeftijden" for AL/MGAL releases, "vanaf 7/12/16 jaar" for 7/12/16 releases)

Variants: Belgian French tapes translated the text to French, but "AL" is replaced by "TOUS".

FX/SFX: TBA

Music/Sounds: None, unless you count the fade-in and the fade-out.

Availability: Seen on Dutch VHSes and DVDs at the time, such as very early Kijkwijzer-certified DVDs and a few Disney tapes at the time, such as The Tigger Movie, Toy Story 2, Dinosaur, Oliver and Company (2000 release), The Black Cauldron, Winnie the Pooh and Christmas Too, Mulan, and Sleeping Beauty (La Belle au bois dormant). Don't expect this to appear on the Belgian Cinema Club VHS of Stuart Little, which has the Kijkwijzer rating bumper instead. However, this bumper does appear on the DVD release.

Legacy: An improvement over the last one.
