1st Logo (1980-1985)
Logo: On a black background, we see two pink tubes cut in half slide from the top and bottom of the screen. While this is happening, another pair of the same shapes slide from the left and right, all while the animation slowly zooms out of the camera. When all four shapes have overlapped their slices, "ArTel Home Video bv", with "ArTel" in pink, fades in, with "presenteert" appearing below the company's name.
Variant: There is a English version of this logo where "presenteert" is replaced with "PRESENTS".
Technique: The shapes sliding.
Music/Sounds: A funky 70's instrumental.
Availability: Seen on a British tape of Tintin Temple of the Sun and a Dutch tape of The Adventures of Tintin
Legacy: This is a fun logo for the 80s
