Alexandra Video

1st Logo (1992-1995)

Visuals: On a space background, there is parts of a gold videocassette with silver spools and three colored bars (red, blue and green) scattered around the screen. The videocassette pieces fly to the center of the screen and join together to form a videocassette, while the green and red bars move above and below the screen respectively, then the red bar comes up and above the screen again, this time the blue bar coming with it. Once the videocassette forms completely, a 3D silver "A" symbol with wings flies in from the lower-right, as well as a blue sticker with the words "ALEXANDRA VIDEO" on it flies in from the lower-left and onto the videocassette. The "A" symbol flaps its wings as it flies to the upper-left corner of the screen, then turns upwards to face the camera. The "A" symbol turns into a static image, and the videocassette rotates around so we can see the line of tape at the top of it whilst coming closer to the screen, thus taking up the lower half of the screen. As this is happening, the words "ALEXANDRA" and "VIDEO" tumble in from the left and right respectively and meet at the upper-right of the screen, where "ALEXANDRA" places itself on top of "VIDEO". The gold letters "ПРЕДСТАВЯ" ("PRESENTS" in Bulgarian) fade in on the tape inside the videocassette, and the logo fades to black.

Technique: CGI.

Audio: A droning synth accompanied by UFO sound effects as the pieces of the cassette form, and a cheery synth theme when the "A" symbol flies in that continues to the end of the logo.

Availability: Seen on old Bulgarian tapes at the time (Bulgaria used the SECAM format at the time until it migrated to the PAL format in 1994-1996). This one was seen on the 1992 Bulgarian VHS printings of Pinocchio and The King's *****.

2nd Logo (1995-2002)

Visuals: On a black background, there is a red outlined A with angel wings attached to it and the text that reads "ALEXANDRA VIDEO" in what looks like blue lightning in the text.

Technique: Still, digital image.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Bulgarian tapes such as Dr. T and the Women, Bounce, Schindler's List and The Godfather.

3rd Logo (2002-2006)

Visuals: Same as the previous logo, but this time, both the red outlined winged A and the text "ALEXANDRA VIDEO" (which is in purple) have a white drop shadow.

Technique: Still, digital image.

Audio: None.

Availability: Seen on Bulgarian tapes such as The Return of Jafar and The Little Mermaid: Special Edition.
