1st Logo (1986)

Logo: On a dark blue background, we see a silver bird-like statue perched on top of a half-shown sphere, all on top of a red hexagon (which is facing 90 degrees upward) with the silver text "AMF" (Al Miraj Films) along with its Urdu translation in a downward facing outline of a banner below, fading in. The logo then cuts to the title card of the movie.

Technique: The fading-in.

Music/Sounds: A dramatic orchestral fanfare.

Availability: Only seen on Chann Bahadur.


2nd Logo (6 March, 2001)

Logo: On space background, we see some stars fly around while the Al-Miraj Logo transforms on.

Technique: 3D computer graphics animation.

Music/Sounds: A synth whoosh, and a synth space tune.

Availability: Rare. Only seen on Hakumat.


3rd Logo (23 February, 2002)

Logo: On a space background, we pan up to a three-dimensional text. The camera turns to 90 degrees to reveal "AL MIRAJ" in a Verdana font. "F I L M S", in the same text as "AL MIRAJ" moves backwards, then stops, revealing the full text. The lens flare moves from right to left, while "PRESENTS" fades in below. The flare disappears.

Variant: A darker (telecine) version exists.

Technique: CGI animation done by Taimoor Tariq and Muhammad Bin Tariq at the Evernew Studio using Corel MotionStudio 3D.

Music/Sounds: A synthesized fanfare with whooshes and three thuds.

Availability: Rare. Only seen on Border.


4th Logo (22 January, 2005)


Logo: On a black background, we see the company name in Urdu and the text “PRESENT’S FOR AL MERAJ FILM’S” Morphing in. Then, a lens appear after the text morphing.

Technique: CGI.

Music/Sounds: Several thuds and a synth explosion.

Availability: Only seen on Mustafa Khan.
