Background

Aeroplane Productions is a company founded in 2005. The animation department was founded in 2007 and initially partnered with Pilot Studio, participating in making some of the shorts for "The Mountain Of Gems" ("Гора самоцветов") series. Aeroplane Productions also partnered with Animaccord, participating in the episode "One, Two, Three! Light the Christmas Tree!" for the "Masha and the Bear" series. In 2010, it created its most famous project, The Fixies, which still continues to run today, spawning 2 movies based off the franchise. In 2021, the studio was bought by Riki Group (the owners of the Kikoriki franchise).

Visuals: On a black background, a crudely-drawn orange propeller spins and stops. When it stops, the letters "АЭР" and "ПЛАН" appear, making the propeller's center look like the "O" letter and creating "АЭРOПЛАН". A ring of the white, spaced-out text "ПРОДЮСЕРСКАЯ КОМПАНИЯ" appears letter-by-letter, surrounding a propeller.

Variants:

  • On the trailer for the canceled The Fixies prototype film (2008), a still English logo is placed on a white background. A ring of the text also says "aeroplane productions".
  • Starting in 2021, the words "ПРОДЮСЕРСКАЯ КОМПАНИЯ" are replaced with "студия анимации".

Technique: 2D computer animation.

Audio: The sound of a propeller buzzing.

Availability: It was originally debuted as a print logo in 2008, however, it didn't receive an animated version until 2010. Seen on The Fixies and both of the movies based on the franchise.
