Background

AdultX, Inc. was a pornographic video distributor. It was owned by Pleasure Productions from the Late 1990s to Early 2000s. The company fell into dormancy in the Mid 2000s.

1st (and only) Logo (Late 1990s-Early 2000s)

Nicknames: "Lava Woman from Hell" "The Lava Demon"

Logo: We see some flames, that, after a few seconds, become transparent and reveal a mean-looking women behind. We see the logo of the company (which consist in "Adult" in bold italic Palatino font on a black scribble, next to a white-outlined, red-colored cross) zooming and waving and the logo stops waving as it places in the center.

FX/SFX: 2D/3D effects, the "AdultX" performing a "wave" effect.

Music/Sounds: A explosion, transitioning into an ominous 4-note synth orchestra fanfare with the 4th one sustaining throughout the logo.

Availability: Can be seen on porn tapes from the time. This logo is always followed by the Pleasure Productions logo.

Editor's Note: The atmosphere of this logo can be frightening. As with many other pornography logos of the time, this was likely intentional, as distributors often hoped to frighten young children away from viewing pornographic content.
