AVID:Requests for Comment/Why do we want the old AVID name "CLG Wiki" back?

From the Audiovisual Identity Database, the motion graphics museum

Why?

The answer to that is simple. Back then AVID was called CLG Wiki until 2022 it had a rebrading of AVID but why do we want the CLG Wiki name back? Well that's because when you search AVID on Google you can only find other sites with the name AVID. It's you seeing this, you don't know where to find him. This is why we want the CLG Wiki name back. Also the CLG Wiki name is better than the new one and please don't refuse. By User:CrageMcle It's also not sure how the RfC tutorial is.

  1. Oppose for the reasoning I gave in this thread. Also, please give a reason why you consider the CLG name better than AVID. And the word "we" isn't appropriate in this case. · Talk · Edits 20:51, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
It's because when I saw the name AVID for the first time I just got mad at this new rebrading or rather I don't like rebrading (Come to my talk page!!1!1!1!1!1!!1) 20:55, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
For the record, this RfC tried the same thing and it flopped hard. · Talk · Edits 20:57, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
It's also prefer CLG Wiki than AVID is also the meaning of AVID that is Audiovisual Identity Database sounds minimal weird looking like music company name is while giving CLG Wiki means Closing Logos Group which sounds better. Is it also who was responsible for the rebrading? (Come to my talk page!!1!1!1!1!1!!1) 20:59, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
The community was responsible. (talk) 21:01, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
Besides, the name "Closing Logos Group" became an artifact years ago, as the word "Group" comes from how it was originally a Yahoo! group. Meanwhile, the site had long since expanded beyond logos at the end of TV series, and the new name also gives us an opportunity to expand way beyond opening and closing logos, including warning screens, bumpers, and commercial logos. · Talk · Edits 21:03, 4 February 2023 (UTC)

Oppose Such a mundane and easily fixable reason. Search the first several letters of the full name, it should pop up in the results, and boom, no name change lmao. (talk) 21:02, 4 February 2023 (UTC)
